We’re hiring: Key Account Manager – Construction Support UTEC is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to take the lead in developing and managing our key Construction Support client relationships.
Reporting directly to the VP Europe & Africa, this is a high-profile commercial role with responsibility for some of our most important client accounts.
While the position will have a strong Europe & Africa focus, it will also carry a global remit where required, working across our international business to support and grow relationships with global key accounts.
The successful candidate will work closely with our clients, regional leadership teams and operational colleagues.
The role will ideally be based in our Aberdeen or Edinburgh office.
Duties and
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with key clients - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key Construction Support clients
- Expand wider service offering into global key accounts - Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses, priorities and future project pipelines
- Develop, monitor and review performance KPI’s for CS Key Accounts
- Identify and convert opportunities for sustainable growth across our service offering
- Provide clear visibility of account performance, opportunities and strategic priorities
- Develop and facilitate communication between project teams and regions services vessels covered by master service agreements
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across the UTEC business
- Ensure the most efficient use of technology resources and equipment on MSA vessels
- Collate and share lessons learned and technological best practice across projects
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to align client needs with our technical capabilities
- Develop synergies across the UTEC Group in the management of projects for key clients
- Execute and facilitate effective liaison between projects, regions, and clients.
- Attend vessel mobilisations, as required
- Adhere to company health, safety, environmental, permit to work and quality procedures at all times (both on and offshore)
Requirements
- We’re looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with genuine relationship-building ability.
You’ll be comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders, navigating complex international organisations and bringing together teams across regions to deliver for our clients.
- Experience within the offshore energy, marine, survey or construction support sectors would be highly valuable, alongside a strong understanding of the commercial and operational environment in which our clients work.
- This is an opportunity to take real ownership of strategically important client relationships and play a key role in the continued growth of UTEC’s Construction Support business across Europe, Africa and globally.
