InterMoor are currently looking to add a Marine Operative to their team on a full-time permanent basis. Based at our facility in Montrose, the role of a Marine Operative will be to assist Yard Supervisor, Senior Marine Operatives, Stock Controllers and Marine Operatives with carrying out duties to facilitate the mobilisation, demobilisation and maintenance of mooring equipment both locally and internationally.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Working under instruction of Senior and Middle management at various locations
- Maintenance of all items held in InterMoor equipment inventory
- Assisting with Quayside operations which will include direct contact with Client representatives
- General Yard duties including all aspects of housekeeping and stock control
- Equipment Inspection in line with guidelines on pass/fail criteria
- Weekend Duty Responsibility
- Liaising with both Clients and the Yard team respectively with regards to current and upcoming hires and hire returns
Requirements
- Sufficient experience of mooring equipment handling and inspections
- Banksman & Slinger Basic Level
- Fork lift truck basic certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- High level of communication skills in both written and verbal
