2H Offshore are looking to add Geotechnical Engineers to their expanding team in Woking (other locations or remote may be considered). As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be part of multi-disciplinary project teams across a wide variety of projects, encompassing engineering design and analysis at the conceptual, feasibility, FEED, detailed design, and/or installation stages. You will take a leading role on these projects and develop strong and close working relationships with our engineering team and our clients founded on a personal approach and technical excellence. You will take joint responsibility to deliver the technical excellence 2H expects across a wide variety of riser and renewable projects.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Performing design and analysis of offshore foundations, which include gravity base, piled, suction can, anchors, etc., along with installation performance.
- Working closely with the other engineering disciplines within 2H to provide holistic solutions to our clients.
- Working both independently and within a multi-discipline team to solve engineering problems.
- Supporting other team members by actively sharing your expertise and experience.
- Communicating results of analysis to the 2H engineering team.
Requirements
- Some experience in geotechnical design or site investigation, preferably within the offshore energy industry would be advantageous.
- Degree level education with a Bachelors or Masters degree in civil engineering or similar field.
- Practical knowledge of ground investigation, geotechnical engineering and geological processes.
- Experience in conducting data assessments and geotechnical analyses.
- Proficiency in writing technical reports and presentations.
