Claxton are looking to hire a Project Mobilisation Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis. Based at their facility in Westhill, Aberdeen, the Project Mobilisation Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the onshore operations team deliver assets to meet project operational requirements. This includes having kit ready to be loaded onto trucks as per the project specific requirements and project mobilisation schedule. When equipment returns to base after operations, the Project Mobilisation Coordinator is responsible for planning and organising the project demobilisations.
Duties & Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, Workshop Manager, and projects department to understand client requirements and meet expectations.
- Act as the onshore operations focal point for the projects team. Provide daily updates to workshop and offshore technicians whilst they are preparing kit for project mobilisations.
- Actively participate in pre and post job briefings. Ensure that appropriate knowledge transfer takes place to allow successful operation and capture any lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
- Anticipate potential issues and provide suitable solutions to ensure that the mobilisation process is meeting project expectations.
- Contribute to the development of a project mobilisation and demobilisation standard. Responsible for maintaining those standards for future projects ensuring Claxton provides a consistent quality service to clients.
- Responsible for accurate completion and sign off of Order Movement Form checks prior to load outs.
- Seek out efficiency improvements and strive to implement changes to reduce time and/or cost of project mobilisation process.
- Ensure a high standard of safety and housekeeping practices are always maintained.
- Work closely with Operations Manager and onshore team to plan best use of resources.
- Work closely with Operations Supervisor to support offshore personnel planning.
- Support the Workshop Coordinator with the tracking of assets on projects and help plan which assets are allocated to future work scopes. Create, update and on-hire rental orders for assets and third-party equipment in Claxton's ERP system.
- Assist with the creation of project certification document packs prior to mobilisation.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirement.
- Fully comply with the QHSE management system requirements and behaviours and all tasks that you carry out are in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures of which are in line with ISO9001.
Required
- Bachelor's or equivalent level degree in a Technical or Business-related subject.
- Knowledge of subsea services industry equipment.
- Experience of business management systems for quality, safety, and environment.
- Computer literate β able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint databases to a good level.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Takes responsibility for work allocated and driven to deliver an excellent service.
- Good planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective decision maker with demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.
