You’ll influence performance, safety, and value delivery while helping to shape the future of the water automation business. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li CompetitiveSalary /li li Bonus /li li Pension /li li PrivateHealthcare /li li EVCarScheme /li li ShareScheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and Engineers /li li Manage performance reviews, development plans, training and 1-2-1s /li li Assist recruitment and workforce planning /li li Promote safety, wellbeing and environmental responsibility /li li Collaborate with Business Unit Manager and leadership to achieve objectives /li li Provide leadership cover for the BU Manager when needed /li li Lead delivery of automation and control system projects in water/wastewater /li li Ensure on-schedule, on-budget, safe delivery per specs /li li Oversee planning, resource allocation, risk management and delivery performance /li li Review designs, quotations and technical solutions /li li Coordinate resources across multiple projects and teams /li li Drive continuous improvement through reviews and lessons learned /li li Develop relationships with water industry customers and partners /li li Identify opportunities for future projects, upgrades and asset improvement /li li Support business development, account management and tender submissions /li li Prepare and review quotations and commercial proposals /li li Maintain commercial awareness in contract review, negotiation and subcontracting /li li Ensure NEC contract compliance in project delivery and commercial management /li li Act as technical and strategic lead for the Water sector within the BU /li li Develop and implement engineering standards and best practices /li li Align solutions with regulations, customer requirements and technology trends /li li Promote innovation and digitalisation to support customer goals /li li Support consistency and collaboration across delivery teams /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant experience in system integration, industrial automation or control systems engineering /li li Proven experience delivering projects in UK water and wastewater industries /li li Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA and telemetry systems /li li Demonstrable leadership of project teams and technical resources /li li Full project lifecycle experience from concept to handover /li li Experience preparing and reviewing technical quotations and project scopes /li li Strong subcontractor, stakeholder and customer management /li li Commercial awareness with contract, budget and profitability management /li li Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts in engineering/utilities projects /li /ul ul li Strong leadership and people management /li li Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement /li li Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and suppliers /li li Industrial automation /li li PLC /li li SCADA /li /ul
