Actemium Automation Hampshire, part of VINCI Energies, is looking for a Senior Software Controls Engineer to deliver PLC, SCADA and HMI solutions across water, energy and process industries. This role offers technical ownership, varied project work and strong support for wellbeing and career development.

The Role

  • Lead the design, development and commissioning of PLC/SCADA/HMI systems
  • Produce FDS, technical documentation and control philosophies
  • Support FAT/SAT and site commissioning
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Troubleshoot and optimise automation systems
  • Work with clients and internal engineering teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions

About You

  • Strong experience with PLC/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider or similar)
  • Good understanding of instrumentation, control philosophy and systems integration
  • Confident communicator with leadership/mentoring experience
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering, Automation or related field
  • Experience in regulated sectors (water, energy, process) desirable
