Type: Permanent | Full-Time/Part-Time About the Role Actemium, part of VINCI Energies, is seeking an experienced and commercially focused HR Business Partner / Manager to support our growing UK business.
This is a broad and influential role, partnering with leaders and teams across multiple business units to deliver effective people strategies and high-quality HR support.
Working closely with senior leaders, managers and employees, you will provide trusted advice across the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, organisational development, talent management, performance, engagement and change.
You will help ensure that our people practices support business growth while maintaining a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to business leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused people advice.
Develop and deliver HR plans aligned with business objectives, operational priorities and the wider Actemium people strategy.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability processes.
Coach and support managers to build confidence and consistency in people management.
Support organisational change, restructuring, consultation processes and business transformation activity.
Lead and support recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, talent management and workforce planning activities.
Support the development and implementation of performance management, reward, recognition and employee engagement initiatives.
Monitor HR data and people metrics, identifying trends and recommending actions to improve organisational effectiveness.
Ensure HR policies, processes and practices comply with UK employment legislation and company standards.
Work collaboratively with payroll, recruitment, learning and development and other central support functions.
Contribute to HR projects, policy development, continuous improvement initiatives and group-wide programmes.
Promote a culture focused on safety, inclusion, wellbeing, development and respect across the business.
Consistently apply Quartz principles and be a guardian for the basic values of Actemium About You Minimum of 5 years' experience operating at Senior HR Advisor, Senior HR Generalist, or equivalent level, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, industrial or project-based environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience managing complex employee relations cases.
Demonstrable experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders, operational leaders and line managers.
Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning, talent management and employee engagement programmes.
Commercially aware, with the ability to translate business priorities into effective people solutions.
Confident coaching managers and communicating with employees at all levels.
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Professional, approachable and discreet, with high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
Experience using HR information systems and interpreting HR data to inform decision-making.
CIPD qualified level 5 or above, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
