The Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our design team. You will develop high‑quality electrical designs for control panels, distribution systems and building services, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards. The role involves collaboration with project managers, installation teams and clients, plus occasional site visits across the VINCI Energies network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create electrical design drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and layouts using CAD/EDM tools.
  • Produce BOMs, cable schedules, equipment lists and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with BS EN, IEC and BS 7671 standards.
  • Work with project teams and attend design reviews.
  • Support procurement with technical clarification and vendor details.
  • Assist installation and commissioning teams with technical queries.
  • Maintain accurate design records and revision control.
  • Contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement across the VINCI Energies group.

Working Environment

A blend of office‑based design work and on‑site visits to workshops and live environments. PPE will be provided; all work must follow VINCI Energies’ health, safety and environmental procedures.
