Panel Wire Person/Approved Electrician – Switchgear

Twyver, a specialist provider of Switchgear and Critical Power Solutions with over 80 years of engineering expertise, is recruiting an experienced Panel Wireperson/Approved Electrician.

Competitive Hourly Rate (JIB) + Pension, Healthcare & 24 days holiday + bank holidays

Location: Gloucester | Full‑time

The Role

  • You’ll be responsible for the assembly and wiring of control panels to detailed design specifications, playing a key part in delivering reliable electrical solutions to major UK industries.
  • Assembling and wiring control panels
  • Reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams
  • Liaising with teams across the business
  • Completing all required documentation
  • Working on the manufacturing and testing of low‑voltage switchboards and control panels

Qualifications

  • Experience with wiring Commercial/Industrial Switchgear and Control Panels (essential)
  • The ability to work unsupervised from electrical drawings (essential)
  • JIB Electrician Grade
  • Strong communication skills
  • A flexible approach and willingness to carry out ad‑hoc duties
  • ECS Gold card (desirable)
