Are you skilled in the art of wiring and passionate about automation? Actemium Automation Eltek is seeking a dedicated Wireperson to join our dynamic team.
About the role
Supporting the Workshop Manager and team to assemble metal enclosures and wire electrical components. You will be executing precise wiring tasks for control systems projects in the snack industry. Within this role, you will be asked to travel internationally, predominantly assisting and overseeing your projects around the world. In total, this will be around 30% of your working year with us.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assembling of stainless and mild steel enclosures
- Laying out chassis plates using measuring tape, ruler, drills, taps and rivets
- Wiring electrical components to specified drawings using stripping and crimping tools
- Travel within the UK and abroad on the requirements of Projects.
The Person:
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering – City and Guilds
- Experience in Electrical wiring
- Ability to build metal panels and enclosures to a high-quality standard, in line with deadlines and complying with industry and customer standards and regulations
