About the Role

We are looking for an organised and detail‑focused Finance Administrator to support the finance administration activities within our E‑Mobility Business Unit. This part‑time role would suit someone looking for flexibility and a positive work‑life balance, including those returning to work or seeking a role that makes the most of their experience in a supportive environment. You will contribute to delivering a consistent and efficient service to employees, customers and suppliers, ensuring all finance processes run smoothly and in line with business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance & Projects
    • Manage the creation and maintenance of customer and vendor accounts within the Business Unit.
    • Process purchase invoices and raise GRNs using the accounts payable automation system integrated with SAP, ensuring compliance with CIS and DRV requirements.
    • Prepare and issue accurate and timely sales invoices.
    • Support the Central Payroll team through weekly timesheet processing.
    • Set up new projects within the finance system, including budget allocation.
    • Provide ongoing debtor support to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Control & Reporting
    • Ensure financial data is accurate, up to date, and aligned with Vinci processes and accounting standards.
    • Support year‑end audit requirements by preparing and supplying relevant documentation.
    • Compile and report quarterly environmental data (eVE) for the Business Unit.
    • Maintain full compliance with internal controls, procedures, and company policies.
  • General Administration
    • Provide flexible administrative support, including absence cover for the Business Unit Administrator when required.

Person Specification

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within a finance environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Approachable and professional, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Grade 4/C or Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with SAP and accounts payable automation systems.
  • Familiarity with Constructionline or Builders Profile.
  • Experience working within a project‑based environment.
