What You'll Do
You’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge control and automation solutions for a wide range of industrial clients.
From concept through to commissioning, you’ll be involved every step of the way.
- Actively participating in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish.
- Fostering great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Producing design and test documentation.
- Developing PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA software, including platforms such as
- Siemens PCS 7 and
Rockwell Plant PAx .
- Performing testing with customers.
- Carrying out on-site commissioning.
- Compiling training manuals and running customer training sessions.
What You Bring
- A strong understanding and experience with major brands of PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms, including
- Siemens PCS 7 and
Plant PAx , with an appetite to learn new technologies.
- Experience writing software and working with customers to deliver projects.
- Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, Profi Net, Ethernet) preferred, but not essential.
- Experience working in an engineering environment.
- An appetite to be the lead engineer on projects and learn new technologies when required.
