About the Senior Project Manager Role at Actemium Automation Peterborough
As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale automation and electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget. Main Responsibilities – Senior Project Manager
- Lead, organise, and motivate teams to deliver automation and control projects to client specifications and deadlines.
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present regular project progress reports, facilitating project meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive project quality through compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
- Support the development of junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice in project management.
- Contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting the development and execution of the Business Unit's long-term business plan, driving strategic initiatives and helping to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence.

- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage contracts, procurement, and project finances.
