Role: Senior Controls Engineer

Location: Actemium Automation Nottingham – Main office (Ilkeston)

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week, Flexible Hours

Salary Range: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

About the role

As a Senior Controls Engineer at AA Nottingham, you will design, review, test, and commission control systems, ensuring customer needs are met and seamless integration and performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management team
• Design and testing of control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards, and legislative requirements
• Provide technical supervision of system design, build, and installation personnel
• Leading the commissioning of control systems at customers’ premises

The Person

• Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
• High level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents
• Strong understanding of technical project life cycle
• Good time management skills, and able to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to work
• Good appreciation of industrial software control systems
