Join our Team as a Finance Business Partner

Location: Ilkeston | Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/ week) | Salary: £45k - £55k DOE

Are you a collaborative finance professional ready to make a real impact? Actemium Automation Nottingham is seeking a proactive and analytical Finance Business Partner to help steer our business forward through financial insight, operational support, and strategic partnership.

What You’ll Do:
  • Partner closely with our Business Unit General manager to support day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.
  • Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis to drive performance.
  • Lead and support financial planning, budgeting, project accounting, and cash flow management.
  • Work directly with operational and admin teams to embed financial best practices.
  • Coach team members and contribute to leadership responsibilities across the BU.
What you bring:
  • A qualified accountant (CIMA preferable or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of core finance functions: accounting, tax, VAT, payroll, and cash flow
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, project cost control, and statutory reporting
  • A confident communicator with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Someone organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
