Job Title: Production Operative
Hours of Work: 44 hours per week (18:00-6:00)
Location: Paignton
Job Role Overview
In this role, you will be required to manufacture PVC frames through the production line to provide high quality products to internal and external customers
Role and Responsibilities
- Working in a small team within all sections on the production floor to include machine shop, welding, fitting and glazing
- Using air powered tools to secure hardware to the frame
- Use of self-standing windows fabrication machinery
- Rotating section work to ensure multi skilled working and provide cover for staff absences
- To provide high quality standards throughout the build
- Ability to lift up to 25kg on own. Above this weight additional personnel will be provided as in line with Health & Safety standards
- Adherence to all organizational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organization in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
- Promote and display the Epwin Core Values.
