Actaris Site Services are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) installations across large social housing blocks. This role involves managing the installation of GSHP systems across multiple occupied properties, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will supervise trades and subcontractors, maintain full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, and ensure clear, consistent communication with residents throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong Health & Safety leadership, significant experience managing large or complex sites, and a clear civils bias — including oversight of drilling operations and associated groundworks. You will coordinate site activities, proactively manage risks, and ensure project milestones are achieved while fostering positive relationships with the Council, residents, and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor programme delivery, quality standards, and risk management
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on large or complex projects
  • Strong civils background, particularly in drilling and groundworks
  • Demonstrable Health & Safety leadership (SMSTS required)
  • Experience working within social housing or occupied environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple work-streams efficiently
