Actaris Site Services are currently seeking two experienced Site Managers to work on roofing and external works projects across Kent. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with an initial 3-month contract, moving into a permanent role for the right candidates. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on roofing and external works projects
- Supervise subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
- Maintain high standards of health & safety (RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks)
- Coordinate labour, materials, and deliveries
- Liaise with Contracts Managers, clients, and the supply chain
- Carry out quality inspections and snagging
- Maintain site records and progress reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within roofing and/or external works
- Strong technical understanding of roofing systems and external envelope works
- SMSTS & CSCS (essential)
- First Aid (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
