Actaris Site Services is recruiting for a specialist engineering contractor delivering low-carbon heating and cooling systems, including ground source heat pumps, geothermal boreholes, and renewable heating infrastructure for residential, commercial, and district energy projects. The company works closely with developers, consultants, and contractors to design and install sustainable energy systems that help reduce carbon emissions across the built environment.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of renewable energy and geothermal infrastructure projects across the Corridor. You will manage projects from planning and mobilisation through to installation and completion, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and quality standards while coordinating drilling teams, subcontractors, engineers, and clients. This is a key role within the delivery team, supporting the continued growth of the company’s ground source heat pump and geothermal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of renewable energy and geothermal installation projects.
- Plan and coordinate borehole drilling programmes and ground loop installations.
- Oversee ground source heat pump system installation and commissioning.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and drilling teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Manage client relationships, providing updates and resolving issues.
- Ensure all work is delivered in line with health & safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, risk assessments, and reporting.
- Support project planning, procurement, and logistics.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, energy, civil engineering, or building services.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of site operations and subcontractor coordination.
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes, and client communication.
- Knowledge of renewable heating, groundworks, drilling, or M&E systems is highly desirable.
