We're looking for a dedicated Assistant Geologist / Engineering Geologist to join our clients Infrastructure division.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Assistant Geologist / Engineering Geologist to join our GI Operations team. In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in geotechnical engineering, along with knowledge of ground investigation techniques and BS5930:2015, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Logging soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2015
- Performing in-situ testing and sampling to current technical standards
- Assisting with the planning and supervision of ground investigation projects
Qualifications
To be a successful Assistant Geologist / Engineering Geologist, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Degree-level qualification in a geotechnical discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
