Engine Test Technician

Location: Stafford

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and test engines to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare engines for testing, including pre-rigging and instrumentation setup.
• Conduct data measurement, collection, and analysis using test bed controls.
• Ensure the quality of test bed data and support engineers with testing methods and results.

Qualifications:

• Education: City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
• Experience:
• 3+ years with diesel/gas engine test programs.
• Mechanical/electrical experience in engines.
• Familiarity with engine test systems and ECU controller software.
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation.
• Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
