Medical Affairs Lead - Dermatology
An exciting opportunity for a Medical Affairs professional to lead the medical strategy for an innovative prescription medicines portfolio across the UK & Ireland, with a key focus on a leading biologic therapy in dermatology.
As a member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic medical direction, build strong relationships with external experts, and lead a team of Medical Science Liaisons to deliver high-quality scientific engagement and medical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the UK & Ireland medical affairs strategy.
- Provide scientific leadership for an innovative biologic and wider prescription portfolio.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of MSLs across the UK & Ireland.
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, centres of excellence and key external stakeholders.
- Drive medical education, advisory boards and scientific exchange activities.
- Generate meaningful medical insights to support business strategy.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and Global Medical teams.
- Ensure all activities are delivered in compliance with ABPI and regulatory requirements.
About You
- Significant Medical Affairs experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in Dermatology, Immunology, Biologics or Specialty Care.
- Proven success leading and developing MSL teams.
- Strong understanding of the UK and Ireland healthcare landscape.
- Track record of developing and executing affiliate medical strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally within a matrix organisation.
