Medical Science Liaison | Neurology | United Kingdom
We're partnering with a growing neuroscience-focused pharmaceutical company seeking an MSL to support their expanding Medical Affairs activities within Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
As a field-based scientific expert, you'll build peer-to-peer relationships with neurologists, MS specialists, researchers and key opinion leaders, providing high-quality scientific exchange and helping shape medical strategy through valuable field insights.
We are hiring across two territories and welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in the North or South UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, HCPs, researchers and patient organisations.
- Deliver non-promotional scientific and clinical support through meetings, presentations and educational activities.
- Support post-launch initiatives, including real-world evidence generation, registry projects and dissemination of clinical data.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a compliant and timely manner.
- Gather medical insights from the field to inform medical, market access and commercial strategy.
- Represent the company at national and international congresses, staying at the forefront of developments in Multiple Sclerosis.
Requirements
- Previous MSL or Medical Affairs experience is highly desirable, although candidates looking to transition into an MSL role from a relevant healthcare or scientific background will also be considered.
- Prior experience in Multiple Sclerosis, ideally within a Medical Affairs environment.
- Strong scientific communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of the ABPI Code and UK pharmaceutical environment.
- Degree qualified in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, Nursing or a related scientific discipline. A postgraduate qualification (MSc, Pharm D or Ph D) would be advantageous.
