The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Your tasks:

  • As part of our Global Plastics Technologies team, you will support the technology transfer from development to series production.
  • You will be responsible for the plastic disposables of automated and manual platforms.
  • Technical project management of injection-moulded components (part specification, tool approval, sampling, series start-up, capacity planning) is also part of your tasks.
  • You will support suppliers in troubleshooting and process improvements through robust manufacturing methods.
  • International travelling to our global suppliers, especially in Europe and North America, can account for up to 20% of your work and is no obstacle for you.

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering / plastics technology or a comparable qualification.
  • You have several years of practical work experience in the field of complex production systems in plastics technology.
  • Experience in injection moulding of microfluidic components is advantageous.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector, chemical environment or GMP environment is an advantage.
  • You have experience in the industrialisation and production of integrated assemblies in a controlled environment and with common CAD programs.
  • You have a high degree of self-motivation and a quick grasp of things.
  • Business fluent in English and strong communication skills with a passion for interdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration round off your profile.
