Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert mechanical support to ensure consistent, high-quality data output; manage equipment breakdowns; install and upgrade facility systems; and maintain complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and cross-functional teams; lead improvement initiatives; and support the development of apprentices.
  • Apply a strong foundation in engineering and diagnostics to help keep the facility at the forefront of engine development and validation, while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a full indentured engineering apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across mechanical systems.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic or fuel systems.
  • Subject matter knowledge in mechanical maintenance, pneumatics/hydraulics, or pipe fitting.
  • Familiarity with laser alignment of rotating equipment.
