This is a hands-on technical role within a highly advanced engineering test environment, supporting the performance and reliability of instrumentation and control systems used in product development. You’ll be central to ensuring accurate test data and smooth operation of complex facilities, while also contributing to ongoing upgrades and improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintaining and calibrating instrumentation, sensors, and control systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving electronic faults and system issues
  • Supporting the build and upgrade of test equipment and instrumentation panels
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance activities to keep systems running reliably
  • Assisting with installation and commissioning of new or modified equipment
  • Working closely with engineers and technical teams to support testing activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Practical experience in electronics, electrical, or instrumentation environments
  • Strong fault‑finding skills across electronic systems and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Experience working with calibration or measurement systems
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Background via apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on experience

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to engine or test facility environments
  • Electrical qualifications (e.g. 18th edition or similar)
  • Understanding of structured problem‑solving or root cause methods
  • Multi‑skilled across electrical and electronic systems
