Clinical Research Nurse – 6-Month Contract

About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Research Nurse to join one of our clients, a leading global clinical research organisation.
This position is primarily focused on clinical research coordination, patient management and study administration, rather than invasive clinical procedures. It would suit a registered nurse who is highly organised, confident working with patients and interested in developing or continuing a career within clinical research.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and coordination of clinical research studies and trials.
- Identify and screen potential participants for research studies.
- Coordinate patient appointments and study visits.
- Support the informed consent process.
- Maintain accurate study records and research documentation.
- Collect and enter study data in accordance with study protocols.
- Liaise with investigators, sponsors, clinicians and patients.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements and study protocols.
- Support preparation for monitoring visits, audits and inspections.
- Track study progress and assist with reporting activities.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience within clinical trials or a research environment.
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
- Knowledge of oncology pathways and treatments.
- Experience using electronic patient records and research databases.
