As a Design Engineer – Drug Delivery Devices, you will support the design and development of innovative delivery systems from concept through to commercialisation. You will take ownership of technical assessments, detailed design, and engineering validation, ensuring products are robust, high‑quality, and ready for high‑volume manufacture. Working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable solutions that meet performance and quality standards.

Key Requirements Include:

  • Experience developing high‑volume products, ideally within medical or drug delivery devices
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and producing engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of core engineering principles (mechanics, materials, thermodynamics)
  • Experience with tolerance analysis, modelling, and FEA simulations
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DFMA)
  • Experience working with suppliers on component development (e.g. moulded parts)
  • Understanding of materials selection, quality control, and risk management
  • Strong technical documentation and problem‑solving skills
