You will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing 3D models and technical drawings to support the design and integration of mechanical systems. This role focuses on supporting M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on 3D modelling, mechanical layout, and cross-platform CAD integration.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and modify detailed 3D CAD models using tools such as SolidWorks and Inventor.
- Integrate mechanical designs into Revit for coordination with architectural and MEP teams.
- Interpret and apply design requirements for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and other industrial systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Produce technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing, installation, and compliance.
- Support the design and development of systems related to automation and industrial environments.
- Maintain version control and documentation standards for all CAD files and models.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical or industrial design, preferably in logistics, automation, or M&E sectors.
- Proficiency in at least one major 3D CAD software: SolidWorks or Inventor preferred.
- Experience with Revit for 3D modelling and integration with building systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, fabrication methods, and design for manufacturing.
- Familiarity with MHE layouts and industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
