Work schedule & flexibility:

  • Fully onsite (Larne)
  • 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, Fridays off!)
  • 37.5 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Larne. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing systems and operations that support the production of high-quality, reliable products for a wide range of critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage manufacturing and assembly projects from concept to implementation.
  • Support New Product Introductions (NPIs) and ensure seamless integration into production.
  • Collaborate across departments to coordinate solution builds and process improvements.
  • Analyze production performance and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Drive cost-per-hour targets through line balancing and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard work procedures.
  • Provide technical support for process control and internal certification.
  • Solve operational challenges related to ergonomics, safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the selection and application of machine tools and related equipment.
  • Assist in the design of complex jigs and fixtures.

  • Manufacturing Equipment: Experience in setting up and inspecting electrical and mechanical machinery.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Working knowledge of lean principles and their application in manufacturing environments.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Extensive experience in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
  • Problem Management: Ability to document, monitor, and resolve operational issues effectively.

Education & Experience:

A university degree in engineering or a related discipline, or a higher-level qualification with relevant engineering experience.
