A leading renewable energy organisation is seeking a Project Quality Inspector to join its growing quality team. This role offers the opportunity to support large-scale battery energy storage and infrastructure projects, ensuring materials and equipment meet the highest quality standards before deployment. Working closely with project teams and quality engineers, you will conduct inspections, identify non-conformities, and help maintain quality standards across key renewable energy projects.
The Role: This position focuses on incoming inspections, quality assurance activities, non-conformance management, and supporting continuous improvement across major renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials and components against quality and technical standards
- Perform inspections using measurement and testing equipment
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Identify and report defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities
- Support NCR investigations and corrective actions
- Work with project teams to resolve quality issues and drive improvements
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures and health & safety standards
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, QC Inspector, or similar role
- Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience using inspection and measurement tools
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction, utilities, or renewable energy sectors is advantageous
