About the Role:
Join a dynamic engineering team at the forefront of power systems innovation. You’ll play a key role in validating and launching a new generation of 5000 series engines. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on first-time engine tests, component inspections, and full-cycle validation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute engine test programs for diesel and gas engines
- Strip down and rebuild engines for mechanical/electrical diagnostics
- Operate and maintain instrumentation (thermocouples, pressure sensors, flow meters, emissions analyzers)
- Use test systems such as DSG, Cadet, and PUMA
- Write and follow detailed test schedules
- Work with ECU controller software
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience in engine testing (diesel/gas)
- Strong mechanical and electrical background in engine systems
- Familiarity with genset low-voltage systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or higher in Automotive Mechanics (HNC/HND/BEng preferred)
- Aerospace experience is a plus
