We’re partnering with a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation to hire a Configuration Support Engineer to join a high-performing technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on both current production products and new product introduction (NPI) projects, gaining exposure across global markets including the UK, Europe, APAC, and the Americas. You’ll play a key role in ensuring engineering configuration accuracy and supporting the delivery of products that have a real-world impact.

  • Review and validate engineering change data in line with change management processes
  • Maintain engineering master models and machine bills of materials
  • Prepare and manage configuration documentation to support product development
  • Coordinate design and configuration updates across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within engineering systems and processes
  • Work across multiple projects, balancing priorities and timelines effectively

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or product configuration environments
  • Familiarity with engineering data systems (e.g. PLM tools like Teamcenter) and 3D CAD tools (e.g. Creo or similar)
  • Strong understanding of change control processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
  • Solid analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in global teams
  • Experience within automotive, aerospace, off-highway, or heavy engineering sectors
  • Exposure to product development lifecycle environments
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
