Patient Recruitment assistant

Location: Coventry/England (Hybrid)

Contract Length: Short term

Working Pattern: Full-time, 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain experience within the clinical research industry. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal entry-level position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping individuals access clinical research opportunities.
  • Conduct telephone-based screening of potential study participants against protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.
  • Accurately enter, review, update, and maintain patient information within clinical trial management systems.
  • Schedule suitable participants into site appointments and maintain accurate booking records.
  • Comfortable speaking with individuals over the phone for extended periods.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Good English language skills, particularly reading and written communication.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with individuals over the phone for extended periods.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, outbound calling, patient-facing, recruitment, or administrative environment.
