We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to support external manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are planned, produced, and delivered on time to meet market demand.
You’ll work closely with contract manufacturers, internal planning teams, and logistics partners to keep supply flowing smoothly while balancing inventory, cost, and service levels.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Production Planning
- Build and manage production plans in SAP
- Align supply plans with market demand and service targets
- Coordinate schedules with external manufacturing partners
- Support both short-term execution and longer-term supply planning
- Order & Supply Management
- Raise and manage purchase orders across SAP and procurement systems
- Track deliveries and keep stakeholders informed on supply status
- Resolve system or invoicing issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure accurate goods receipt and documentation
- Inventory Control
- Monitor stock levels across materials and finished goods
- Identify risks such as excess, slow-moving, or expiring inventory
- Support stock reconciliations and inventory accuracy activities
- Work with partners to optimise inventory and reduce waste
- Data & Systems
- Maintain accurate master data (lead times, suppliers, costs)
- Ensure data integrity across planning systems
- Support reporting and provide insights into supply performance
- Operational Support
- Contribute to supply review and planning meetings
- Track key KPIs such as on-time delivery and inventory health
- Drive corrective actions to improve supply performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
- Required:
- 2+ years’ experience in supply chain, planning, or similar role
- Experience with production planning processes
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Confident communicator able to work with multiple stakeholders
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Nice to Have:
- SAP experience (MRP, PPDS, IBP or Ariba)
- Supply chain certification (e.g. APICS CPIM)
- Experience working with manufacturing or external suppliers
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics
- Power BI or reporting tool experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
