We’re seeking a Key Account Manager with strong market access expertise to lead regional access, pathway optimisation, and stakeholder engagement for a diverse generics and pharmaceuticals portfolio. This role focuses on navigating NHS structures across the North West, shaping commissioning routes, and ensuring our products reach patients efficiently and sustainably.
What you’ll do:
- Lead regional market access strategy across North West ICBs/ICSs, securing formulary inclusion, funding routes, pathway alignment, and long‑term adoption.
- Build and maintain senior NHS stakeholder relationships (ICB/ICS leadership, medicines optimisation, procurement, provider trusts).
- Develop tailored local access strategies aligned with commissioning pathways, value propositions, and population health priorities.
- Collaborate with sales, medical affairs, and commercial teams to align access plans with commercial objectives and ensure a unified approach to contracting and tenders.
- Support creation and localisation of pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, and budget impact materials.
- Continuously track NHS reform, regional policy shifts, and system pressures across the North West, adjusting strategy proactively.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience engaging with North West ICBs/ICSs, influencing access decisions at system and provider levels.
- Strong understanding of NHS commissioning, funding flows, pathway redesign, and procurement processes.
- Demonstrable market access capability, ideally paired with a KAM or commercial background.
- ABPI qualification.
- Experience working with pharmaceuticals or generics; ability to articulate clinical and economic value in competitive therapeutic areas.
