Are you a hands-on maintenance technician available for a short-term night-shift contract in a fast-paced, technically advanced environment? This 2-month contracting opportunity offers immediate engagement, exposure to modern equipment, and the chance to support critical operations alongside an experienced on-site engineering team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical and/or electrical equipment
  • Diagnose faults and perform first-line troubleshooting to minimise downtime
  • Support continuous operations within a 24/7 shift-based environment (night shifts)
  • Assist senior engineers with inspections, repairs, and improvement activities
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and site compliance standards
  • Accurately record maintenance activities, interventions, and shift handovers
Your Profile
  • Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent technical training
  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering
  • Previous experience in a maintenance technician or engineering role
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or automated environments is advantageous
  • Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and hands-on technical skills
  • Comfortable working night shifts in an operational, fast-paced setting
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team
