Improving lives through learning – join our team at ACT! We’re looking for a passionate and adaptable Skills Tutor to support young people aged 16–19 on our Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) programme. In this rewarding role, you’ll deliver engaging skills training and enrichment activities to learners on our Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) programmes — supporting those who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET).
You’ll inspire learners to gain confidence, develop new skills, and prepare for future employment or further learning. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You’ll plan and deliver sessions that combine essential skills (maths, English, and life skills) with creative, practical experiences that bring learning to life.
The role is peripatetic, involving delivery across several sites — primarily Aberdare, Ebbw Vale and Pontypool — so flexibility and travel between centres are essential.
