ACT is a modern, service-led inventory company based in Hampshire. We work with busy letting agents and property managers who need inspections handled properly - on time, with consistent detail, and with zero drama. We’re growing and we’re looking for a Property Inspector to join the team. If you’re experienced, organised, and take pride in doing a thorough job, you’ll fit in well here.

What we do

We carry out professional property inspections across Hampshire, producing reports that are clear, consistent, and easy for clients to use. We use in-house software to keep everything structured and uniform, and we focus heavily on service, reliability, and getting it right first time.

This role would suit you if you are:

  • An experienced Inventory Clerk / Property Inspector
  • A Property Manager / Lettings professional who’s ready to get out from behind a desk and into a role that’s more practical, independent, and structured

If you’ve spent years dealing with maintenance queries, inbox overload, and constant firefighting - you’ll probably enjoy the simplicity of this job. You’ll still use your property knowledge, but in a more focused, calm and professional way.

The type of person we’re looking for:

  • You don’t need to be “salesy” - but you do need to be professional, switched-on, and confident dealing with agents, landlords and tenants.
  • You’ll ideally have:
    • Experience in property inspections, inventories, check-ins/check-outs, or property management
    • Strong organisation and time management
    • A high standard of written English
    • Great attention to detail and good judgement
    • A calm, professional manner in people’s homes
    • A strong work ethic and pride in doing things properly
    • A long-term mindset - we’re building a team, not a revolving door

How the role works

You’ll be given a predominant patch in North or South Hampshire, so you can build relationships with local offices and keep travel sensible. That said, we’re a growing business and flexibility matters. While we don’t make a habit of moving people around, you’ll occasionally be expected to support other areas when needed. In short: you’ll have a “home patch” - but you’ll also be part of a team that backs each other up.

We provide:

  • A tablet with our in-house inspection software
  • Branded welcome pack and equipment
  • Full onboarding and training on our systems and reporting standards
  • Ongoing support and quality feedback (high standards, no nonsense)

Important

This is a full-time role and we’re looking for people who want stability, progression and a long-term place in a growing business. If you’re experienced, reliable, and want a role where you’re trusted to get on with the job - we’d love to hear from you.
