Position Summary

This role will be part of a dynamic manufacturing team leading the way in cutting-edge video and multimedia processing equipment to high quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follows written instructions and documentation related to the manufacturing of electronic products.
  • Undertakes assembly tasks related to the manufacture of electronic products.
  • Undergoes all training as required to increase knowledge and flexibility in completing all tasks, from SMT to dispatch in order to meet the required quality standards.
  • Takes responsibility for workmanship and looks for opportunities for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Assists colleagues where required and raises any issues to the Production Supervisor/Manager in a timely manner.
  • Takes part in various training programs and proactive in improving quality standards.
  • Carries out duties in an efficient manner, acting wholeheartedly in the interests of the company, complying with all the Company rules and regulations.
  • Ensures high standards of housekeeping is maintained.
  • Adheres to all health and safety policies.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to contribute, support and improve team performance by working collaboratively, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Previous electronics and soldering experience desirable.
  • Willingness to help in all areas of the operation.
  • Good understanding of lean principles.
  • Ability to be punctual and reliable.
  • Must have positive, enthusiastic and work as part of the team.

  • Frequently required to sit.

  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
