ACT Developments is looking for a reliable and highly organised Driver to support our construction sites across London. This role is critical to the smooth running of site operations - ensuring tools, materials, safety equipment, and welfare items are delivered accurately, on time, and in excellent condition. You will also play a key role in maintaining tool inventories, company lock-ups, and vehicle standards while supporting sites with general assistance when logistics tasks are complete.

Responsibilities
- Logistics & Deliveries
- Collect and deliver materials, tools, and equipment between suppliers and ACT sites
- Ensure all items collected are accurate and match site requests
- Purchase materials from approved suppliers while respecting budgets
- Provide delivery documentation (receipts, packing slips) to site management
- Maintain and update tool inventories
- Track location and condition of tools, welfare, and safety equipment
- Keep company lock-ups clean, organised, and accurately logged
- Keep company van clean, organised, and presentable
- Conduct regular checks (tyres, lights, indicators, engine warnings)
- Record inspections in the vehicle logbook
- Proactively check with sites for collection needs when deliveries are complete
- Provide general labouring/site assistance when required
- Maintain a daily diary including deliveries/collections, sites assisted, and van checks/maintenance
- Submit daily report to the Operations Manager
- Promote a positive and professional company image
- Maintain open communication with site teams and suppliers
- Raise any concerns, incidents, or issues promptly
- Follow all company H&S policies and road safety laws
- Wear appropriate PPE on sites
- Report accidents or incidents immediately
- Lead by example in safe working practices
