This is a full-time, hybrid role, applicants would be required to come to the office in the Greater Leeds Area once a week, especially during probation as to ensure successful integration into the wider business and team.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting market research
- Preparing sales proposals
- Negotiating contracts
- Collaborating with internal teams to align efforts with business goals
Reporting to the Sales Director, the candidate will champion sales performance and client satisfaction.
Experience:
- Business Development, Sales, and Client Relationship Management skills, with a proven ability to leverage opportunities and build networks.
- Proficiency in Market Research, Opportunity Identification, and Strategic Planning.
- Effective Negotiation, Proposal Writing, and Presentation skills to secure partnerships and deals.
- Collaboration and Teamwork abilities, along with excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Time Management and organisational capabilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of construction products, including structural components is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
