We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics and warehousing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous logistics, transport, warehouse administration, or supply chain experience who is looking for a fast-paced and varied role. Working within a busy warehouse office environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of deliveries, customer orders, and transport operations while acting as a central point of communication between drivers, customers, suppliers, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries
- Booking transport and scheduling deliveries
- Monitoring shipment progress and resolving delivery issues
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, drivers, and warehouse personnel
- Managing customer accounts and maintaining strong relationships
- Processing and maintaining accurate logistics documentation
- Raising invoices and updating internal systems
- Monitoring stock and inventory records
- Welcoming drivers on arrival and directing them appropriately
- Supporting continuous improvements within logistics operations
Key Requirements
- Previous experience within logistics, transport, warehouse administration, or supply chain operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Experience using logistics, transport, or ERP systems would be advantageous
