  • Control and monitor board stock, paper, corrugated materials, cores, consumables and finished goods.
  • Complete monthly stock takes across all three sites and consolidate results into a single group stock position.
  • Monitor stock levels and proactively identify shortages, excess stock and potential supply issues.
  • Coordinate stock transfers between sites to minimise waste, production downtime and unnecessary purchasing.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records within the MIS system.
  • Update previous stock counts and ensure inventory data remains accurate.
  • Produce regular stock reports and KPIs for site and senior management.
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability supports production schedules.
  • Help standardise stock control procedures and implement best practice across the group.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, efficiency and operational processes.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and highly detail-oriented, with the confidence to take ownership of stock control across multiple sites. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, print, packaging or similar environment.
  • Previous experience working across multiple sites or business units would be advantageous.
  • Confidence using MIS, ERP or stock management systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with production, purchasing, planning and warehouse teams.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and manage responsibilities across multiple locations.
  • A full UK driving licence, as regular travel between the three sites will be required.

WHAT'S ON OFFER
