We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business looking for an experienced Co-Packing Team Leader to join its operations team in Wellingborough.

Working within a busy confectionery packing operation, you'll be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
As Co-Packing Team Leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the packing operation while remaining hands-on with machinery and production activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating the co-packing team to achieve daily production targets.
- Operating and monitoring a variety of co-packing machinery.
- Ensuring products are packed to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Completing production and quality documentation accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and food safety.
- Supporting compliance with BRCGS and company procedures.
- Carrying out basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Working closely with colleagues across production and warehouse teams.
- Promoting a positive, safe and collaborative working environment.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and leads by example.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience leading or supervising a production or packing team.
- Experience operating production or packing machinery.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A commitment to quality, food safety and continuous improvement.
