Location: St Albans
Hours: 6am – 4pm Mon – Fri (Saturday overtime in peak season)
Salary: £30,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year
The Role
You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the yard, safely moving stock and preparing customer and delivery orders.
Duties include:
- Operating counterbalance forklift or telehandler
- Loading and unloading turf, stone, and landscaping products
- Picking and preparing orders for collection and delivery
- Manual handling of heavy materials (turf rolls, slabs, bulk bags)
- Stock organisation and yard housekeeping
- Checking orders against delivery notes for accuracy
- Supporting customers and drivers on site
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance or Telehandler) – essential
- Valid driving licence and own transport - essential
- Previous yard, warehouse, or outdoor environment experience
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Reliable, punctual and team-focused
- Good health & safety awareness
- Flexible to work Saturday mornings
