We are currently recruiting an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a busy production team working on an industrial scale. The role involves sewing transport-related items such as cushions, seats, and similar products.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will be required to complete different sewing tasks daily while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties- Industrial sewing of commercial seating (e.g. cushions, seating components)
- Completing lockstitch, twin stitch, and overstitch work to a high standard
- Carrying out daily machine care and basic maintenance
- Working from job instructions and adapting to changing tasks
- Maintaining accuracy, quality, and efficiency at all times
- Previous experience as a sewing machinist (industrial preferred)
- Confident using lockstitch, twin stitch, and overstitch machines
- Ability to look after and maintain your sewing machine on a daily basis
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
