An established and highly successful manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Machine / Saw Operator to join their growing team. Working within a structured metal production environment, you will play a key role in the manufacturing and quality assurance process. While full training will be provided on company-specific machinery, previous experience operating industrial saw machinery is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Amada saws and associated machinery
- Follow all health and safety procedures rigorously
- Ensure accuracy of work in line with product specifications
- Carry out quality checks and report faults or discrepancies promptly
- Undertake general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, material handling and preparation for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Use internal computer systems to access order information and record quality data
- Communicate effectively via email when required
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience within metal production operating industrial machinery (saw experience preferred)
- Forklift/Reach Truck licence (highly desirable)
- LOLER certification advantageous (training provided after probation if required)
- Flexible attitude with a willingness to learn and retrain
