THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Delivery Station Team Leader to join a busy delivery station in Coventry CV7.
You'll support the day-to-day operation, lead a team and ensure parcels are processed accurately and efficiently.
This is a fast-paced, target-driven environment where teamwork, communication and attention to detail are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives
- Monitor team and driver performance
- Ensure parcels are scanned, sorted and dispatched correctly
- Support dispatch and returns operations
- Help achieve daily operational KPIs and targets
- Coach and motivate team members
- Deal with operational issues and elevate when required
- Investigate and resolve customer issues
- Communicate effectively with warehouse teams, drivers and management
- Maintain high Health & Safety standards
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential:
- Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience
- Experience within a warehouse, logistics, fulfilment or delivery environment
- Previous experience managing or leading a teamComfortable working to targets and KPIs
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A hands-on and proactive approach
- Flexibility to work different days, including weekends
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - You must be available to work 40 hours per week on a 5 out of 7-day shift pattern, 14:00 -23:00.
Working days will vary according to business requirements and can include weekends.
This is a temp-to-perm position after 12 successful weeks, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.
