What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the development and launch of a new specialist children's home.
  • Building positive relationships with local professionals, education providers, health services and social care teams.
  • Helping recruit, develop and support a compassionate, values-led staff team.
  • Creating a positive culture built on dignity, consistency, patience and aspiration.
  • Preparing a calm, nurturing home that feels like home, not an institution.
  • Working closely with the Responsible Individual and Directors throughout the Ofsted registration process and beyond.

Experience/qualifications required:

  • Experience working with children with learning disabilities, autism and/or ADHD.
  • Previous experience within children's residential care.
  • Strong leadership skills with a child-centred approach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving the best outcomes for children.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards, if applicable).
